• Principal Investigator of DFID (U.K.) project with Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine, London, U.K. on effect of air pollution on vegetable crops, ( 2000- 2001)
• Principal Investigator of CPCB (Central Pollution Control Board) project on Utilisation of MSW compost for agricultural crops. (2000-2001)
• Principal Investigator of UNDP-IRRI Philippines project on Methane emission from rice fields (1994-1998)
• Principal Investigator of ICAR project on Methane from rice (1993-97)
• Principal Investigator ICAR project on Renewable Sources of Energy, (Bioconversion) since 1987, the project had 13 Centres all over India.
